Doc-Loc LLC was started in the Ozark Hills of Missouri in1996. The founder of Doc-Loc LLC has fished the lakes and streams of the Mid West for over 47 years. From being a semi pro bass angler to catching panfish from farm ponds around the country. Settling into the business of Trout fishing on the Current River in Missouri.
While into Bass fishing tournaments he invented a boat security device called the Doc-Loc, It was patented in 1998, then sold to The T&H Marine Inc. Once the stress of inventing and the pressures of the bass fishing was behind him he started full time trout fishing. He found that trout tackle was an elite type of tackle apart from the common type of baits and tackle sold in most general tackle stores around the country. He went to work selling and buying only trout tackle for The Reeds Fly and Tackle store in Montauk State Park, as Sales Consultant.
